TCool infill is the number one choice for dry and hot climates. TCool is a patented technology, first introduced by Global Syn-Turf in 2018. It prevents turf surfaces from overheating, using a precoat applied to artificial grass sand infill that’s activated by adding moisture.Global Syn-Turf
At first glance, most people think artificial grass installation without infill is easier, quicker and less expensive. They begin to wonder if synthetic turf would look great without the need of any infill.
Zeolites is nature's miracle. Microporous minerals are formed in places of reactive sites of volcanic rocks and ask layers with alkaline water. Most generic brands don't use pure zeolites simply because pure minerals, formed over thousands of years, are not easy to obtain.

It is possible that infill sands to be either blown or washed away from time to time. Yes, you can use TCool infills for pet area. The drainage capacity of Tcool is just as good as any other infills. Even though the infill won’t help to neutralize the pet smell, but people can always use our Pet Odor Neutralizer to get rid of smells. For any further questions, please feel free to call us at 877 796 8873 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, thank you.

There could be two reasons regarding your concern: we are not familiar with the particular infill you have used, however, the mesh of the infill might be a bit too big, we typically recommend to use #16 or #20 mesh infills. Secondly, for infill purpose, rake might not work well especially when the infill particles are big, a coarse push broom will work better, most of professional installers use power broom to get the job done. Please feel free to email us at email@example.com if you have any further questions, thank you.

It is difficult to tell without seeing the process and results of the installation. Turf installers might use different installation materials that available locally and alternate the process from our recommendations while still achieving the goals such as proper drainage. Infills are recommended for the purpose of helping to hold down the turf and minimize contractions and expansions. Your installer is correct that most of our turf are thick and fluffy enough to stand up well, though. Sometimes people skip using infills because of budget or for small areas. In any case, uneven surface seems more like an installation issue. For any further questions, please feel free to call us at 877 796 8873 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, thank you.

Typically, we can categorize infills as two types:
1. Silica sand: either clear sand or coated sand. Coated sands include green color coated or Tcool coated. The moisture retaining and vaporizing characteristics for sands are not much different than any regular sands we use on a daily basis.
2. Zeolite infill: this is a natural mineral which have good moisture retaining capacity and neutralize the dog smells.
Given warm or hot temperature and air flow, all infills can dry well. For any further questions, please feel free to call us at 877 796 8873 or email us at email@example.com, thank you.

Well, it is very rare for such infills problems, I personally haven’t seen such issues before, it will be difficult even though it is possible. If you have not applied the infills on your turf yet, I will suggest you to return the infills and get new ones. If the infills have already applied, you might use a shop vacuum to suck them out and replace. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at 877 796 8873 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, thank you.

We always recommend to use Zeolite infills for pet applications. Zeofill is one of the brands we carry. Zeolite is a natural mineral which can neutralize the dog urine smells, when used as turf infills, it also provide weight to help holding down the turf and making fibers standing up better. 15x19 is a rather small area, adding infills onto such small piece of turf can be easy: you can simply hold the infill bags and spread the infills onto the artificial grass surface, then using a push broom to brush the infills into the turf. Sometimes installers will use nails in the putting green turf to stabilize the installation. However, the. Type of nails used has to be without heads (or pins) and once installed, people won’t notice them at all. Regular 40D or 60D will probably not work as the mail heads will be exposed. I hope your installer has used the correct nails that not visible on your green, of course it will always be ideal to only have infills to hold the turf in place without using any nails. Generally speaking, you can combine the two different infills: Tcool and Zeofill at about even amount, some people do so once a while on their artificial grass installations. However, you need to be aware that when you combine the infills, we won’t be able to reach the max results of getting turf cooled or pet odor reductions, both Tcool and Zeofill will function but not near to their capacities, unfortunately I don’t have any effectiveness percentage numbers. In your case, I will always recommend to use Tcool as the infill and deal with the pet smells differently if it even become a problem for you. By using Tcool as your main infill, you can be sure that your turf won’t get hot during warm days, and you can always use our pet odor neutralizer to spray down the pet smells when needed: https://megagrass.com/products/pet-odor-neutralizer. Pretty much so: spread the infills as evenly as possible then use push broom to work the infills into the turf. If your artificial grass area is rather big (more than 500 sf), you can use a seed spreader by setting the speed at max. For any further questions, please call us at 877 796 8873 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, thank you.

We recommend to use an average of 2 lbs per square foot of infills for your artificial putting greens: the infills can be regular sands or green colored sands, but the mesh size has to be at least #30 or smaller. Most of infills are available at 50 lbs per bag, so for a size of 315 sf, you will need about 12-13 bags of infills. Please feel free to let us know if you have any further questions by phone: 877 796 8873 or email: email@example.com, thank you.

Normal infills will help the turf standing up better and reduce the expansions and contractions during the temperature change, but won’t help with dog urine smells: Pet Odor Neutralizer can be used with a garden hose to clean and wash off the smells on the regular infills, so special type of infills is not absolute but it will be ideal. Zeolite or Zeofill are our recommended infills for pet turf as they will reduce the dog smell. For details about Zeofill, please check this out: https://www.globalsynturf.com/products/zeofill-organic-infill, or give us a call at 877 796 8873 or email us at email@example.com, thank you.

At the installation of artificial grass, infills will need to be brushed in by using a power broom or a push broom or even power washer. Such actions will get the infills settled at least 70-90% and your turf can be used immediately. Given time, the infills will settle in more which is not noticeable at all l, nor such settling will affect how the turf being used. For any further questions, please feel free to call us at 877 796 8873 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, thank you.

Yes, generally speaking, all putting greens require infills of 1.5-2 lbs per square foot regardless the faceweight. With sufficient infills, your ball speed will be ideal and your greens will have less expansion/contraction. Both our 60 oz and 44 oz putting greens are with bit dark shade of color. From installation standpoint, it is much easier to infill the 44 oz greens than the 60 oz greens as the 60 oz greens are much more dense that makes it difficult to brush the infills into the fibers. Artificial ivy products won’t need any accessories besides installation related items such as zip ties which come with the ivys in the package box.
