First and foremost, you really don’t want your pets to discharge on your artificial putting greens, training them not to mess with your greens is important. However, if by accident they pee or poop on the putting green surface, you can use a garden hose to wash down the liquid and spray with our Pet Odor Neutralizer to remove smells if any. You can simply pick up the solid discharges as you would from other surfaces. My suggestion is that you always want to use our regular artificial grass for your pets to play and use for their toilets instead of having them on your putting greens. Our artificial grass products are definitely safe for these farm animals, however, I personally haven’t seen much of farm applications, and don’t have much of insides to offer as pros and cons go. If the numbers of the animals are limited, I can see the benefit of having turf as it will be very easy to rinse cleaning it with minimal maintenances; the concern can be how to prevent these farm animals from trying to chew or eat the turf which can cause issues. I don’t see it can be a good idea to have turf hosting large amount of farm animals given how unpredictable of the animals’ behaviors. 

We do see a lot of applications of turf around farm or barn areas to cover dirt for walking and entertainment in today’s market.

As far as we know that the dogs won’t eat any infills on the artificial grass. As you can see that infills for turf are either sands or minerals which typically is typically not for dogs appetite, besides once the infills being installed properly, they will sink all the way to the bottom of the turf and very different for the dogs to reach.
