First and foremost, you really don’t want your pets to discharge on your artificial putting greens, training them not to mess with your greens is important. However, if by accident they pee or poop on the putting green surface, you can use a garden hose to wash down the liquid and spray with our Pet Odor Neutralizer to remove smells if any. You can simply pick up the solid discharges as you would from other surfaces. My suggestion is that you always want to use our regular artificial grass for your pets to play and use for their toilets instead of having them on your putting greens. All our artificial putting greens are similar in height with 1/8”-1/4” difference, and the faceweight is about 15 oz apart at two extremes. Yes, generally speaking, all putting greens require infills of 1.5-2 lbs per square foot regardless the faceweight. With sufficient infills, your ball speed will be ideal and your greens will have less expansion/contraction. Both our 60 oz and 44 oz putting greens are with bit dark shade of color. From installation standpoint, it is much easier to infill the 44 oz greens than the 60 oz greens as the 60 oz greens are much more dense that makes it difficult to brush the infills into the fibers. The feel and look of all our putting greens are very similar if you are referring to that of “smoothness”. For the smoothness of ball moving/speed, all three main putting greens will give you 7-9 on stimpmeter without any infills and can go up to 12-14 with infills, which in my opinion are very smooth.
