I am a homeowner and I purchased my turf from Ewing Irrigation in Chandler Arizona and had contractors install it. I ordered a cut of turf that was 15 by 24. The shipment they sent had a very visible unnatural pattern in the turf. I only noticed once the grass had been cut and asked my installation team about it. They said that sometimes the pattern comes out. Sometimes not. Well. The pattern didn't come out. I contacted EWING, who said to contact GST. GST sent out a rep to look at the grass and said that it would need to be replaced. Well instead of replacing the $850 worth of turf for me, their solution is for me to cut a piece of the turf that is defective and patch in a smaller portion to fix the problem. Here's the issue with that: GST wants me to PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKE. Why? They say that the installer should have noticed the issue before installing. So their logic is that it's a third party is responsible to quality control THEIR product. I noticed the issue after it was installed, so now they want me to take my $850 piece of turf and cut it, then pay for someone to join the two pieces together. It's very clear to me that they have disdain for their customers. They have been nothing but dismissive and condescending on the phone. They are an example of bad customer service, bad business, and I certainly will tell all of my friends, including you reading this review. To look for a better product from a better company.
