Dog Turf

My neighbors have artificial turf and two dogs and the smell is bad.  Every time I go in their backyard it smells.  I asked them what they do to maintain the turf and why it smells that way.  I personally really want artificial turf but I don't want the smell on account I have three dogs.  I did extensive research and found Global Syn Turf and their very professional team of employees and Sales Reps.  When I called Global Syn Turf I spoke with Amber.  She transferred me over to a Sales Rep named Dave.  Dave really helped me understand artificial turf and how it relates to pets and the smell.  Dave told me that the drainage in the back of the turf was the most important part.  The Pet Turf Global syn Turf sells has three times as many holes in the back for drainage than normal artificial turf.  Secondly, he said the base work needed to be deep enough to allow proper drainage below the artificial turf.  Next is the maintenance, he said that artificial grass is touted as no or low maintenance, but when you have dogs you need to have artificial turf.  You need to rinse the turf off frequently when you have pets on the turf.  You also need to use a Pet Deodorizer that has enzymes to disinfect the artificial turf.  Don't dilute the mixture, apply it direct and thick.  Let the Pet Deodorizer soak in the turf for a couple of hours.  Then come back and rinse it very very well.  Once you smell you will know that you cleaned your turf very good.  I want to thank Global Syn Turf and Dave for coaching me on this process.
