I have a roof top condo in Phoenix and I wanted to put artificial turf outside on my deck. I was recently at a restaurant bar on a roof top in downtown Phoenix and they had artificial turf. I asked for the manager and spoke to him about where they got the artificial turf. He told me to call him the next week so he could research who did it. He said the contacted Global Syn Turf and they referred him to a synthetic grass distributor in Arizona. He gave me the phone number and I called them. They sent a nice designer out to my place named Cindy. Cindy brought me samples and was very educated when it comes to putting artificial turf on a roof top. She looked at my roof top and found where and how the water drained when it rained. Next she recommended the PDS tiles to lay on my roof top before they laid the turf. The PDS tiles are .5" thick and 1' x 1' squares and they snapped together to fit any shape. The PDS tile creates an airspace between the deck and the turf so water can flow freely to get to its exit point and drain. She then showed my 10 different skus of artificial turf and I asked her which one the roof top bar had and she showed me the S Blade 66. I told her that is the turf I wanted. She then proceeded to measure my rooftop and gave me a written estimate right on the spot. The bid seemed very reasonable considering they need to bring all the materials up through the service elevator of my apartment building. Two week later they installed my roof top and it took about 3 days to complete. I could not be any happier with my new roof top with artificial turf.
