DENSITY
Artificial grass density is measured in ounces (oz), between 25 to 94 oz, and is one of the two main factors you should consider first when choosing synthetic turf (the second one is the pile height). The denser or higher oz the turf is, the better. But higher turf density also comes with an increase in cost. S Blade 50 has a density of 50 oz (face weight). This classifies S Blade 50 as professional face weight, making it ideal for commercial applications.
PILE HEIGHT
Landscape synthetic grass pile height starts at 1.25''. S Blade 50 pile height comes in at 1.62''. Anything relatively shorter in pile height is not considered professional and would not look or feel like natural grass. Due to the medium height of its blades, S Blade 50 provides an optimal pile height, making it more resilient to being flattened when compared to taller fibers; it also required less infill.
STABILITY & DRAINAGE
26 oz/yd² polypropylene backing offers extra strength, dimensional stability, and turf-lock within the system. With a perfect water run-off grade on a sub-base, S Blade 50 backing offers superior drainage - it drains much quicker than a natural lawn, so you will never see water puddles or standing water in a field of S Blade 50 artificial grass. Drainage is super important if you live in a state with long rainy periods or if you have dogs or other pets that use your lawn often.
REALISTIC LOOK
The realistic look of artificial grass is based on a couple of factors, including the blade shape, the fibers color mixture, and thatching. Some turf has one layer of thatching. Most Global Syn-Turf artificial grass for landscapes however have double thatching - brown and green. The same goes for S Blade 50. Double thatching provides extra cushioning and makes the turf look exactly like natural grass - with a bit of a brown and green curled grass at the bottom of the surface. This also provides the added benefit of no longer needing any detaching or aeration!

I bought the 6' x 10' piece of artificial grass. I didn't do a lot of prep to the place I'm utilizing it. Turned it out and tucked it under pavers. What I did was raked and leveled the zone and removed any hard shakes, sticks, and so on. This is a little side yard region that is generally utilized for the puppies and a for kids who visit several times each week. But on the other hand is a peaceful, shrouded garden territory to sit and read. I do keep a shade cover during the summer days, so it won't get steady sun rays on it. Will rate this product 5 stars!

Look how well my artificial grass blended well on my plants and trees! I chose artificial grass over to the real grass because I don't want my stepping stones to get muddy when the rainy season comes. The artificial grass doesn't look fake which I like, and it feels so soft, nearly mimicking the real grass. I have no regrets choosing artificial grass!

My front yard was kinda boring, just a simple pavement. I want to give some color to it and since I love greens, I decided to install an artificial grass, which I think is perfect since I have trees in front of my house. It's a very good choice I made since artificial grass don't die, it's low on maintenance, and it stays green over time. My wife love it too.

This turf looks BEAUTIFUL! DIY installation (just cleaned up space and used staples from the yard to secure it) and this artificial grass look really great in my small yard. I wanted something to make the space brighter and keep the dirt down, and since my yard is under a few large Sequoia trees and has limited light, growing real grass is challenging (and requires water that is in CA shortage). I didn't want to spend tons of money and this is a great value!. It took me only a few hours to install it. I cut it down to match the length I wanted and it was really easy to do. Easy to clean! I just hit it with a blower, which also makes the artificial grass looks more natural because it gets blown in different directions. This purchase is truly satisfying. Highly recommended product and pictures speak a thousand words.

I have this S Blade-50 product installed in my house in Phoenix, Arizona. The installer recommended me with several options, and I believe this turf is the best valve among them all. I am very happy with how quickly the project was done and especially very happy with my choice. The color is perfect and this artificial turf feels much thicker than some other companies claimed more dense products. I am not sure how people determine their turf configurations, but I feel turf products from this company feel the best.
