This is in for about 6 months. We see weeds and occasional grass blades growing through the artificial grass. Is tis normal or does it indicate poor installation? Can we spray on the turf with weed/grass killer without damaging it?

Weeds can sometimes find their way to grow through the drainage holes or along the edges where turf meets driveway or pavements. You can definitely use weed/grass killer to get rid of them without damaging the turf, try to spray weed killer to the affected area only though.
