What happens if a lit cigarette is dropped on it?

I read on some of your FAQs that artificial grass is resistant to fire. Does that mean that if my cigarette dropped on it, it will not burn a hole?

The cigarette will melt the grass fiber, but the grass won't catch on fire. Keep in mind that a lit cigarette can be as hot as more than 1100 degrees F, it will melt or burn anything! So you will need to be careful not to throw lit cigarette onto artificial grass, even though most of the time people don't even notice the melt if not to look closely.

Burning cigarettes can leave burning marks on the turf, but will not spread or become a fire.
I see, that makes sense. Good thing the burn will only cause a hole, not a fire.
