What specifications should I take into consideration when selecting a turf product? Does the thatching affect the way a turf looks?

There are two main components of artificial grass surface: straight fibers/blades and thatching. The straight fiber/blades are the parts replicating the real grass, they are straight, green. Thatching is the curled part of the artificial grass, most of the thatching are two colors: brown and green. Artificial grass' thatching has two main functions:

1. To help supporting the straight fibers to provide the artificial grass with better resiliency and less likely to mat down easily.

2. To add more realistic/natural look to your artificial grass given the fact of thatching to be curled and dual colored.
